SportsEngine, Inc., an NBC Sports Group company and the leading provider of Sport Relationship Management (SRM) software is adding an Marketing Manager of Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Sponsorships, to our Minneapolis team. You will have a large impact here in development of sales proposals and successful delivery of all SportsEngine advertising engagements and campaigns. This position will also be  responsible for managing day to day partner relationships, the execution of all partnership deliverables and account management work.

Focus Areas:

  • Provide NBC Account Executives and SportsEngine Go-To-Market leaders with the tools needed to have seamlessly productive interactions with clients to ultimately drive both revenue and gross profit

  • Responsible for development of strategic sales proposals that meet both advertisers needs and articulate SportsEngine capabilities

  • Collects and leverages input to optimize deliverables

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success teams to identify and execute training, education and program support opportunities with core SportsEngine customers 

Marketing Manager, Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Role and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the development of presentation materials, create proposals and media plansManage the execution and delivery of required inputs during the advertising and sponsorship intake process
  • Own and manage the execution and delivery of required inputs during the advertising and sponsorship intake process
  • Initiate processes to gather, report, and analyze customer data which will inform strategic decisions

  • Partner with Ad Sales Team to generate new sales opportunities through both repeatable and customized programs designed to meet specific client objectives

  • Establish external project plan in support of the client agreed upon terms to ensure a well executed campaign, liaison with partners to ensure that all contractual obligations are met

  • Track leading indicators of units, brands, customers, and organizations and analyze them to understand state of the campaign and sponsorship terms

  • Report to SportsEngine Go-To-Market team on sales growth and forecasts through daily metrics and dashboards, along with regular business reviews

  • Partner with Finance to ensure collectability, invoicing, and payment terms.

  • Identify, track and enable Go-To-Market Team to engage with advertisers and partners with a priority in renewal

  • Serve as an escalation channel for Customer Success on resolution of major support cases and work with the Engineering team on potential technical defects 

  • Success for this role will be measured by meeting or exceeding revenue attainment goals, as well as meeting or exceeding the expected delivery schedule of category initiatives and programs

Marketing Manager, Advertising & Sponsorship Sales Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong Powerpoint, KeyNote and Photoshop skills desired

  • Experience with Advertising Sales and Operations highly desired 

  • Experience in sport relationships and understanding of the youth sport ecosystem desired

  •  2+ years of experience, ideally in a high-growth software business

  • Proven experience in balancing multiple, dynamic relationships and work streams, with a demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage

  •  2+ years of Business Management or Relationship Management experience, ideally with enterprise clients and/or PartnersAbility to partner with cross-functional groups with a focus on delivering revenue
  • Strong interpersonal skills including strength in collaboration, consultation and building trust and credibility with involved parties

  • Strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of team trust and confidence
